I had the pleasure of dining in at Britts BBQ in El Segundo. I met the owner Claudia who was extremely welcoming. I don't remember the name of gentleman prior. I was a bit skeptical of the restaurant at first but decided to give it a try as I've been past here numerous times in the past 6 years and never stopped. The food was better than I expected. I asked a lot of questions prior to ordering. I ordered the BBQ Brisket sandwich. The sandwich was toasted in a Texas Toast cheese bread filled with maccaroni and cheese, with juicy brisket and unfortunately it said bacon on the menu, but I didn't taste any bacon at all. The potato salad was ok, but could use a little more salt. Overall the food was delicious and hospitality was received. I recommend it as a first try to anyone in the El Segundo area who is seeking BBQ.

Britt's BBQ has classic Southern comfort food. It's a small shop with friendly service. There's a parking lot in the back and metered spots in the area. For the food: The pork melt is decadent with cheese crusted Texas toast, mac & cheese and pulled pork. The tater tots are crispy and delicious.

Brisket bbq, so soft and juicy! Who loves meat will definitely love this place! Coleslaw is also nice on the side

So I ordered from what I believed to be my "go to" bbq spot and sadly this wasn't their best meal. Usually even if I order from UberEats my food is pretty warm. Unfortunately this time my food arrived like warm almost cold. On top of that I'm used to the food coming in the black plastic container that separated the food better. The sauce was everywhere and I would have preferred it not on my potato salad. My preference. I hope this was a one off experience. I hope my next experience will be one that I love.

Love the vibe here and the service is amazing! It's pretty rare that you find a place that actually knows how to make an Arnold Palmer! Definitely coming back. Ohh and the food is great!

Great food, excellent service and who doesn't love being street side in a beach city. This place is very busy and it's obvious why. They run out of gumbo by the weekend, but everything we ordered was delicious. Party of 5 and everyone ordered something different, pulled chicken, ribs, pork melt, brisket sandwich, corn bread, all great! Highly recommend. We will be back even though it's an hour and a half from us.

My son and I haven't been here in a few years. Some of the menu changes were disappointing, but very happy with our meal. He tried the smoked fried chicken which did NOT disappoint. I had the tri tip sandwich which is always been my favorite. Along with the potato rounds that have me craving more. We won't wait too long before returning. We will be back.

My husband and I moved to the area nearly a year ago but only just tried Britt's BBQ in October 2023. The restaurant is small and unassuming, located on the main strip of downtown El Segundo. It's very easy to get street parking nearby. We came in on a Thursday night around 5:30 - 6 pm. There is not a lot of seating inside the restaurant, and there were some people inside already eating. We ordered and paid first at the counter before being seated. The staff were friendly and prompt. We didn't wait very long before receiving our food. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich with two sides. I had the one-meat combo. Both of our dishes were excellent and full of flavor. The servings were generous and we both had leftovers to take home. This is probably the best American BBQ place that I've tried in Los Angeles and I definitely plan to return.

I was starving after church in Hollywood and drove all the way down here to meet my friend. Closest to kbbq was this place. I LOVE MEAT! You have to check this place out! Claudia was so friendly and this place smells so good! I wanted to try everything! I got the 2 meat combo with St Luis ribs & Brisket! The sides were cornbread and potato salad and coleslaw! M-m-m! You gotta try the tri tip too! My friend got the baked beans! They're were yummy too! (I like sharing food... even if he doesn't! ) Anyway, I'll be back guys! Thank you!

Looking for old school bbq done right? Look no further. The smoked brisket was UNREAL. Fell apart almost on sight. The sausage was delicious and just the right amount of spicy. And those ribs! Finger licking good. Truly, the best bbq. Mac and cheese was out of this world and the potato salad had the flavor and dill I was looking for! This place is cute and quaint! Special items on the menu. The Chef recommended the jalapeño popper tacos. OMG THOSE WERE UNREAL. Brisket and cream cheese stuffed in a smoked jalapeño and wrapped in bacon and placed in a tortilla. Like who thinks of this brilliant combination?! Britt's. That's who. Service was top notch. Definitely will be returning and trying the seafood gumbo!
